Vaccination Schedule

We highly recommend the following:

 We recommend that all puppies should be vaccinated. The only vaccination that is mandatory is the Rabies vaccination and it varies from state to state.  All other vaccinations are optional. We highly recommend vaccinating puppies between 7- 8 weeks of age and each vaccination after that should be given at least 4 weeks apart.  Then following the initial puppy shots, provide booster one year later, and every three years thereafter.

7-8 Week = DHPP*

11-12Weeks = DHPP** Booster 

15-16 Weeks = DHLPP** Booster plus Rabies Booster (1 year vaccination)

16 Months = DHLPP, and Rabies ( 3 year vaccination)

*DHPP = Distemper, canine infectious Hepatitis, Para influenza and Parvovirus

**DHLPP = Distemper, canine infectious Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Para influenza and Parvovirus

Other Vaccinations

Bordetella = ( Canine Kennel cough)

Recommended for dogs who usually require boarding, kenneling, commercial travel or international travel.

Lyme Vaccination- fight against lyme disease

Front Line Flea and Tick Control= at 8 weeks old

Heartguard plus= at 16 weeks old
